Rocchetta Palafea
Here stood once a strong castle.
It was included in the properties of Acqui, owned by the marquis Aleramo and later by the marquis Ponzone, lord of Rocchetta.
In 1347 it was acquired by the commune of Genova, that gave it to Enrico del Carretto.
The castle was knocked down at the beginning of the XVIII century; today only the bastions are standing, along with the square tower.
