Villa Fontana is a wellness center, with suites, a spa and a restaurant: a charming residence overlooking the Langhe and Monferrato UNESCO hills.
The careful restoration work on the typical nineteenth-century court has safeguarded elements and details of that period.
Decorations, fireplaces and doors and windows are combined with touches of modern design and amenities.
The dwelling is thus an ideal destination for couples looking for relaxation in a refined and charming setting.
Alba and the Langhe which are close by form part of a stimulating territory from a wine-food and cultural point of view and offer numerous opportunities for recreation.
Children are welcome from 14 years of age and up.
Villa del Barbiere del Re
During July 2019, Villa del Barbiere del Re has been renovated in the park of the Villa: a new residence of the same era that includes six rooms, SPA with heated indoor and outdoor pools and meeting room.
It too has been skilfully restructured by combining classic style and modern details.

The Restaurant
Gourmet experience for senses and soul as well as quality and tradition
Good things are good for the heart is the philosophy of the “La Fontana del Re” Restaurant.
The products used are mainly local and seasonal raw materials, many of which come from the private garden of the Villa.
In the summer, dinner is served on the panoramic terrace to enjoy the magnificent sunset over the hills or by candlelight on the exclusive veranda.
The comfy and cozy dining room is embellished with a decorated tile floor, a fireplace, refined curtains and design objects.
The panoramic terrace is available for guests during the warm months.
In the kitchen, chef Fabio Calzone recounts the territory through typical and non-traditional dishes, made with seasonal raw materials.
The restaurant offers a rich, tasty and genuine menu, using local products, many of which are selected directly from the villa’s private garden.

Jams, local cheeses and meats, croissants, fresh fruit and cakes, coffee, tea and herbal teas to start the day in a healthy and balanced way.

Original period furniture, paintings by Piedmontese artists and specially made furnishings welcome guests in the 12 suites of the two villas
The rooms are furnished with original period furniture and modern, Made in Italy decorative elements.
The soft-colored textile decorations, chosen in harmony with the natural shades used for the restoration of the Villa, are a concentration of style and harmony.
All suites are equipped with: free wi-fi connection, individually controlled air conditioning, minibar, safe, bathroom amenities, hairdryer and towels.

Two deluxe suites at Villa Fontana of 48 square meters consisting of two rooms: a double bedroom with king size bed (200×200 cm), fireplace, armchairs and a living room with sofa bed, bathroom with shower, frescoed ceilings, original precious wooden floors and view side on the garden of the Villa.

Deluxe suite with panoramic terrace
A deluxe suite at Villa Barbiere del Re of 31 square meters consisting of: bedroom with separable king size double bed (200 x 200 cm) and sitting area, bathroom with shower, satellite LED TV, a record player with a selection of vinyls, original precious wooden floor and private panoramic terrace with sitting area and comfortable seating overlooking the Asti hills and the swimming pools.
Overnight per night per room: 300 → 310 €
The equipment is completed by two satellite LED TVs, a record player with a selection of vinyls, air conditioning with individual control, minibar, coffee pod machine, safe, bathroom amenities, hairdryer, towels and sheets.
