Surrounded by the Canelli vineyards, immersed in the tranquility of an Italian garden, the hotel resort “L’Aja della Mirusina” welcomes guests in an elegant and reserved environment.
The ancient villa, skilfully renovated with green attention (solar and photovoltaic panels) and modern furniture details, still preserves the charm of historic residences.
Relaxation here is the watchword: the estate is surrounded by the Langhe and Monferrato countryside, with vines, hazelnuts, fruit trees and a luxuriant fauna as a frame.
Among the services included in the stay, a wine shop, a tennis court (under construction), a summer swimming pool and a splendid park where you can stroll on the best days.
The breakfast: goodness at km0
The strong point is certainly the breakfast: to be enjoyed in the pleasant breakfast room, or in the portico with a view of the Canelli hills, it is made up entirely of locally sourced and typically Piedmontese products.
High quality croissants, black and white bread, focaccia.. There is no shortage of homemade cakes: from classic pies to savory pies with seasonal products for those who prefer savory, who can also choose from a wide selection of local cold cuts and cheeses .
Even the selection of drinks satisfies all tastes: tea and herbal teas from the renowned Dammann Frêres, cappuccino and coffee with fresh Piedmontese milk, fruit juices… in short, you will not be disappointed!

A story that
begins in 2020
in Canelli
A historic residence of uncertain origins, which retains traces of its ancient past
At the gates of Canelli there was a large house, opposite the Salesian Shrine, which history or legend tells was owned by the curia.
The house appears in a collection of period postcards owned by illustrious men of Canelli, among whom there is a rumor that it was previously part of a Medieval Templar Commandery.
Over the years it has undergone various transformations and has been the residence of wealthy people and then of wine merchants.
The building consisted of a manor house which has been renovated preserving the Art Nouveau frescoes, the recovery of which required the intervention of an expert technique.
We find the exposed brick arches and you can still admire the underground "crutin" passing on a glass walkway.
The resort hotel opened in October 2020, and now welcomes its guests to these spaces with ancient history.
The Rooms
All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, expertly furnished with quality materials and design.
In total, the structure has 20 rooms available, two of which are family rooms consisting of two large bedrooms each.
Each room has been renovated creating environments that combine the historicity of the spaces and modern good taste, thanks to a valuable design embellished with ancient objects brought to new life.
Comfortable orthopedic and hypoallergenic mattresses guarantee a very high quality of sleep.
At guests’ disposal, each room is equipped with:
