418 meters above sea level, at the intersection of the Alps and the Apennines, between the provinces of Asti and that of Alessandria; it is here that Alice Bel Colle rises: village, winery, and at the same time association of producers.
In this land that serves as a crossroads of different identities, three very different grape varieties also meet, which identify a single territory: Barbera, Moscato and Brachetto.
Those of Alice Bel Colle are wines with an extraordinary olfactory intensity, wines that are drunk first with the nose!
Alice Bel Colle, with its 100 producer members and 350 hectares of vineyards, has been committed for more than half a century to find a synthesis of plurality, giving the deserved prominence to this territory with its extraordinary olfactory intensity.
As they specify on the winery website, those of Alice Bel Colle are “wines that are drunk first with the nose…”, because “Alice IS Wonderland!”.

The Wines
The 100 members of the winery are vineyard specialists: each one takes care of their own hectares
Many small parcels of land make up the wine heritage of Alice Bel Colle, with hectares divided as follows:
- 200 of Moscato Bianco, the most prized variety
- 60 of Brachetto
- 50 of Barbera
- 40 of other grape varieties
Each producer takes care of their property with extreme attention, contributing to an annual production of over 32 thousand quintals of grapes, of which only about 25% is destined for bottled production.
The 18 labels produced are divided into 5 lines, different in terms of land exposure, grape selection, price range and wine characteristics.
“The three peaks” are the three most renowned bottles: the Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG Alix, the Moscato d’Asti DOCG Paiè and the Acqui DOCG Secco Monte Ridolfo.
Following is the “360° Collection” with 4 authentic wines, rich in aromas and structure, produced exclusively in the most suitable vineyards and following a protocol of extreme care and selectivity.
“Le Casette di Alice” are instead the most representative wines of the territory, those produced with the intent to express, harvest after harvest, the character of the specific vintage.
To conclude there are the two lines of “Bollicine di Alice“, one produced with the Classic Method and one with the Martinotti.
