The parish church of saint George

Saint George, the christian knight who faced a dragon and won, was very venerated in this part of the Langhe. To him are dedicated some chapels in the countryside, and the parish church of Torresina.

To reach this church its necessary to leave the car in the town square and walk to the church, under the covered gallery that reaches it.

This is a very pleasant corner of the Langhe, the ideal place for Sunday-morning chatting after Mass, with a beautiful view.

The facade, entirely made of stone, makes a beautiful effect beside the stone roofs of the houses around.

Inside are a baroque altar and a stone aspersorium.
