We recommend you to visit not only the historical center of Rocca Cigliè, but also the little chapel of sant’Eusebio.
It’s necessary to leave the car at the crossroad of Ciglié and Roccaciglié, then walk for a few meters on a little road through a wood to arrive to the ruins of the chapel, with its semicircular apse.
Judging from its wide porch, it should have been a shelter for the pilgrims.
In the little apse are some frescos, made in 1619, of the Virgin with the Baby, saint Francis and sant’Eusebio.
There are also traces of older frescos and decorations.
