The church of Santa Chiara

in Bra

Walking on the steep via Barbacana it’s possible to arrive right in front of the marvellous church of saint Clare, a baroque masterpiece by Bernardo Vittone, built in the Eighteenth century. Started in 1472, the church has a Greek-cross plan and two domes. The superior one is decorated with frescos by Pier Peolo Operti from Bra, named the “Triumph of saint Clare”.
