Art, music, theater, dance, meetings, and activities for all tastes in Gorzegno

to Saturday

05 September 2026

until late night

Magical Gorzegno returns, the festival that brings diverse forms of art and culture to the village: music, theater, circus, dance, and performance, but also literature, meetings, markets, family activities, and moments dedicated to well-being.

The 2026 edition revolves around the theme “Elsewhere. Finding oneself in other places ”, an invitation to look at things from a different perspective thanks to art, stories, music, and the landscape.

For two days, Gorzegno is transformed into a place to be fully experienced through activities and shows, but that’s not all! Throughout the weekend, it will be possible to walk the Via delle Sibille, amidst tarot cards, runes, rituals, magic, and ancient knowledge, and meet the festival exhibitors!

In addition, visitors can explore the exhibitions “PortrAIts” by AISM, dedicated to the encounter between art, artificial intelligence, and identity, and “Safe Places / Spazi Sicuri” by Fabio Orioli, an installation hosted in the Chapel of San Martino within the Castle area.

And of course, Magical Gorzegno is also an opportunity to eat, drink, and be together: on Saturday evening and Sunday for lunch and dinner, the meadow at the foot of the Castle will host the Pro Loco and food trucks, to experience the festival without haste, between one show and the next.

Saturday’s program

As early as Saturday afternoon, Magical Gorzegno lights up, transforming the village into a great open-air stage, featuring tightrope walking, circus, theater, literature, music, performances, and fire shows.

The program

The festival opening is entrusted to Giulia Cammarota with On the Thread of the Elsewhere: a spectacular tightrope crossing above the square accompanied by the music and movements of the PoEM collective.

Following this is the Fenoglian marathon A Day of Fire, curated by the Beppe Fenoglio Study Center, and One Thing Leads to Another by Circo Puntino, a show of theater-circus, comedy, and acrobatics.

The festival moves to the Castle with Maurizio Carucci, musician, author, farmer, and frontman of Ex-Otago, with his show There is no place in the world: a dialogue with Erica Nava of the PoEM collective on the relationship with the land, inland areas, the landscape, and the search for other possible ways of living and inhabiting places.

Carucci will also perform songs from his own repertoire and from Ex-Otago, accompanied by the choreography and performances of PoEM.

Meanwhile, the festival will continue in the meadow with The Storytellers from the Magog Company, featuring folk theater, fairy tales, and participation, and with the fire performance by Heriel Fire.

Towards late evening, the meadow at the foot of the Castle will become the stage for the Zefiro Summer Tour, a concert by TÄRA, an Italian-Palestinian singer-songwriter and one of the most original voices on the new Italian scene.

A blend of contemporary pop, R&B, and Eastern Mediterranean sounds, transforming the concert into a journey through cultures, roots, identity, and belonging: one of the most intense musical interpretations of the theme of the Elsewhere.

And after the concert, Gorzegno keeps on dancing: closing the first day will be the DJ set by Radio Fujot, featuring Italian music, fusions, and electronics.
