Colonna Castle

in Baldissero d’Alba

Baldissero d’Alba – The village is marked by the Colonna castle, built before 1268; its actual structure, with towers and merlons, was built in 1860 during a big restoring. Inside the castle there’s still a part of the apse of the ancient chapel, decorated with gothic paintings.
