Serravalle Langhe – On the town square, in fron of the parish church, between simple homes, there’s the little oratory dedicated so saint Michael.
The entrance, on the left side, is on a room divided in two: the older on the right, with a cross-vault covered with frescos, and a newer one on the left, with a wooden nave.
Interesting are the paintings, probably made in the second half of the XV century. In them are represented Jesus, Michael the archangel “weighing” the souls and the evangelists, painted at their “working table”, on rich thrones.
It’s a real jewel of a paining, for both dimensions and artistic level.
