Walk on the Truffle

Last appointment with “Sui sentieri di La Morra”, the walks of the Tourist Office dedicated to the discovery of the territory, its nature and its traditions.

This time we will walk on the traces of the truffle together with Carlo Marenda, creator, along with Edmondo Bonelli, of the Save The Truffle project, founded in Alba in 2015 with the aim of protecting and enhancing Piedmont’s natural truffle grounds.

Starting from Bricco delle Viole, it will be an opportunity to know the world of the truffle more closely, its delicate relationship with the woods and the Langhe landscape, and to discover the work that underpins the safeguarding of this extraordinary natural heritage.

A walk to understand how the protection of the truffle passes through the care of the territory, the recovery of old truffle grounds, and the planting of new truffle-bearing plants.

The event is organized in collaboration with the National Truffle Study Center of Alba.
