Homage to Giacomo Puccini

One more high quality event on the evening of Saturday, April 20, at the Palazzo Taffini D’Acceglio in Savigliano.
The spotlight will be turned on to illuminate pianist Achille Lampo and the prize-winning singers of the Enzo Sordello Competition.
The conducting voice will be that of Alfonso De Filippis and the setlist will include songs in tribute to maestro Giacomo Puccini.
Achille Lampo – an undisputed musical talent – earned his piano diploma at the prestigious “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin at the age of just 17, earning top honors.
During his training, Achille Lampo had the opportunity to further perfect himself under the guidance of renowned masters– Paul Badura Skoda and Mieczyslaw Horzowski, just to name a few.
With his extraordinary talent and dedication to music, he is embarking on a highly successful artistic journey, continuing to enchant audiences with his extraordinary piano artistry.
Alfonso De Filippis, an Italian stage artist, has made his mark on the stage arts scene with his eclectic training and subsequent experience in major national and international theaters.
His fascinating adventure in the world of performing arts began in Milan in 1985, when he decided to move to the vibrant Lombard capital.
Here he earned his diploma as a dancer, while cultivating a deep interest in all forms of artistic expression.

This artist’s contribution to the world of performing arts continues to inspire and fascinate both theater enthusiasts and emerging talents, confirming him as a leading figure in the Italian cultural scene.
On stage – alongside the two performers – will be the winners of the Enzo Sordello “Opera Singing” Competition.
