Every year Carmagnola hosts the National Pepper Fair.

It is one of the largest and most qualified Italian events in the food and wine sector and the largest dedicated to an agricultural product, each year offering gastronomic, cultural, artistic, and sporting events and creative and engaging experiences for all senses and all age groups.

The lasagna of the ropemakers by Osto Bruma

There is a delicious and profound way to tell the soul of a territory: doing it through food.

In this unique show-cooking, we will witness the birth of “La Lasagna dei Cordai”, a special dish that combines three Carmagnola excellences: the Ox-horn Pepper, the Grey Rabbit of Carmagnola, and hemp.

This plant has sunk its roots here since 1235 and is linked to the historic art of the master ropemakers.

An unmissable appointment to rediscover the true diplomacy of taste, celebrating the memory of two great masters of Piedmontese gastronomy, Renato Dominici and Carlin Petrini.
