Located in Diano d’Alba, in the picturesque hamlet of Valle Talloria, just 7 km from Barolo and 8 km from Alba, Fosco Bistrot opened its doors in late 2019. Originally established in the tasting room of the historic Salvano winery owned by the Sobrero family, today the bistro has been expanded to offer acomplete food and wine experience.
The cuisine offered is traditional, with carefully selected raw materials from small local farms. Fresh pasta, of course, is handmade every day.
To enrich your experience, you can explore the wine cellar (located two floors underground) and embark on the various winetasting tours paired with the delicious dishes prepared by the chef.
The Kitchen
A sensory experience among traditional dishes and fine wines
Fosco Bistrot devotes great attention to typical Langhe dishes, enriching them with more sophisticated ideas.
For the Sobrero family, wine is the combination of the traditions of this land and its highest quality products. However, a good wine becomes perfect only when enhanced by the right flavors.
With this idea, the bistro was born, an environment in which to offer customers a complete sensory experience.
A place to be welcomed and taken on a tasting tour of traditional Piedmontese dishes and wines from the Salvano winery.
