Cascina Bauci is a unique and evocative place nestled in the hills of the Langhe, in La Morra. More than just a winery, it is a center dedicated to artistic production, Mindfulness and experiential wellness.
Here, traditional tastings are transformed into immersive and rejuvenating experiences, offering a journey of reconnection with nature and with oneself. In addition to wine, Cascina Bauci offers meditative paths, creative workshops, holistic activities and moments of conviviality between art and food.
The project is the result of a meeting between Emanuele Buganza, a born winemaker, actor and puppeteer for RAI and international productions, and Marta Indra Di Giulio, Mindfulness teacher, social and community theater expert, taster and performer.
Together, we manage unconventional art spaces with performance art, theater and visual art activities.
Art and nature in continuous dialogue
Cascina Bauci is also an art residency that welcomes selected artists.
Names such as Matteo Raciti, Bruno Geda, Tonichina, Irene Von Dorigotti and Lorenzo Gianmario Galli have contributed to the creation of works that enrich the farmhouse, experimenting with different techniques and materials, but always with a common thread: the profound bond between human beings and nature.
Prominent among these installations is Matteo Raciti‘s Oltrecielo, a work that visitors can walk through and experience firsthand, becoming an integral part of the space that houses it.

These activities aim to create authentic connections between people and nature through experiences centered on wine, art, mindfulness, and well-being.
Oltrecielo is a site-specific installation created by Matteo Raciti that seems to mirror Calvino’s description of Bauci, a flying, dreaming city, eternally floating in the clouds.

Tasting Experience
Delight your palate with 3 biodynamic wines, including an elegant Barolo DOCG.
The experience, lasting approximately 75-90 minutes, includes a cellar visit to learn about the estate's organic and biodynamic philosophy, a vineyard walk where you'll find the artwork Oltrecielo by Matteo Raciti, a tasting with truffle and tapas pairings, and relaxation among the vines or in the tasting room.
Both individual travelers and groups are welcome.

Mindful Wine Tasting & real or fake truffle?
Innovative multisensory tasting experience based on mindfulness, tasting, and neuroscience.
It will enhance your senses in a completely new way, helping you appreciate every nuance of each sip.
The wine experience will be paired with truffle to learn to distinguish fake from real.
Suitable for both experts and beginners.
The experience lasts 2 hours depending on the number of participants.
Included are a cellar visit to learn about the estate's organic and biodynamic philosophy, a vineyard walk where you'll find the artwork Oltrecielo by Matteo Raciti, a tasting with truffle and tapas pairings, and relaxation among the vines or in the tasting room.
The experience costs → €45.00/person for groups up to 9 people and €40.00/person for groups of 10 or more.
Discovering the cellar
Before entering the basement, an exploration of the outdoor spaces is a must.
The route in stages (a choice of two different difficulties, depending on slope) winds through the In Line of Hands vineyard, so named because it reflects the parallelism between the lines of hands, which tell unique stories, and the rows of vines, which trace evocative meditative paths.
The itinerary brings together art installations and works made entirely by hand, evoking the artisanal work of the vineyard. Every detail is designed to connect humans with nature in an authentic and profound way, hence the term Land Art.
The cooperage: the heart of wine
The path finally leads to the cooperage, where the wine comes to life in a perfect balance of tradition and innovation.
Here, artisan knowledge blends with modern winemaking techniques, resulting in wines that tell of a timeless passion.
