This approach focuses on targeted control of harmful pests, sparing natural antagonists and minimizing the use of chemicals.

Using pest-resistant plants and monitoring traps, the company has eliminated the use of chemical treatments and traditional fertilization to produce tasty, healthy and wholesome jams and specialties.

The store features a wide range of products, the result of a careful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables processed within hours of harvest, the basis of a process that enhances original flavors and reintroduces authentic gastronomic experiences.

Products

Lots of tasty organic creations

A product line that is the result of harmony between tradition and sustainability, offering consumers an authentic and healthy culinary experience.

Sauces and dips

From tomato puree and pulp to a variety of sauces such as basil pesto, red pesto or the special yellow pesto with curry and pumpkin cream.

More than a dozen sauces to discover, some typical of tradition such as Piedmontese, bell pepper or vegetable sauce, and others more unique such as plum or peach sauce.

Jams and fruit in syrup

In the orchards in the Langa, fruits are picked at the right point of ripeness, before being processed after a few hours to make more than twenty different compotes, all-natural and with the true flavor of fresh fruit.

The wide range of apricots, pears, cherries, peaches, plums and grapes offers the opportunity to create an extraordinary variety of exquisite-tasting fruit in syrup.

The Madernassa Pear

The variety takes its name from the hamlet of Vezza d'Alba of the same name, about 3 km from the farm. The mother plant, felled in 1914, was 130 years old, with a trunk about 2.60 meters in circumference and a production of more than 25 quintals of fruit.

It is believed to be the result of a natural cross between Martin sec and a wild variety.

In the Roero, the Madernassa pear has become an essential part of fall and winter cuisines, often cooked in wine and spice syrup for about 30 minutes, perfect to enjoy as an end to a meal.

Appetizers and jarred specialties

Here you can find an abundance of delicacies ranging from the great classics such as the Langarolo, Piemontese or Bagna Caoda appetizer, to grilled artichokes, pickled spring onions, country-style zucchini, and many jarred specialties such as truffle tomini.

Sustainable organic farming

Working with nature for a healthy and wholesome product

For more than 25 years, the farm has been cultivating its land according to the organic farming method using the assistance and production control of Soil and Health, a famous and serious certifying body.

Organic farming adopts methods that respect the environment and food safety, emphasizing agronomic control and reducing the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.

This approach produces end products free of synthetic pesticide residues. Soil fertility is enhanced through crop rotation and exclusive use of humus for fertilization, eliminating the use of chemical fertilizers.

Crop protection is done by using natural substances such as plant extracts and beneficial insects, in line with European standards, while weeds are managed by chopping or mulching.

Fruit and vegetables are harvested manually and in multiple stages to ensure ideal ripeness.

Maintenance and promotion of biodiversity

As for the crop production sector, the most noteworthy features are the maintenance of soil fertility, crop rotation, green manuring of crops, prevention of erosive phenomena, rational use of water resources, and prohibition of the use of material from Genetically Modified Organisms.

Food safety

Knowing where food comes from, the use of fewer artificial chemicals in products and guaranteed fresher food are central elements of our production process, which has as its main goal to enhance, promote and identify with a philosophy of food safety, reliability and quality.
