Villa Moffa in Bandito di Bra hosts Resonances, the small festival where words become community, organized by Apneia APS.

An afternoon open to all, designed as a space for meeting and sharing where words, writing, and listening become tools for building relationships and reflecting on themes of fragility, inequality, and inclusion.

Throughout the day, there will be a mix of talks, experiential activities, children’s workshops, music, and social moments.

The program

The festival kicks off at 3:30 PM with various activities designed for adults and children.

Giulia Viberti will lead a gong bath, while Elena Fontana will offer a space dedicated to mindfulness.

For the little ones, there will be face painting with Chiara Vai and a nature workshop with Martina Massarone.

Writing, images, and memory

At 5:30 PM, art therapist and writer Marilde Trinchero will speak at the session “From origins to today: places and forms of writing”.

For years, Trinchero has worked on the relationship between images, body, and words through art therapy and autobiographical writing. She is the author of, among others, the volumes La solitudine delle madri, Reclusioni di corpi e di menti, and La vita è bella, published by Edizioni Magi.

L’Attimo e l’Eterno

At 5:50 PM, L’Attimo e l’Eterno – narrazione del tempo nei territori dell’Albese will be presented, a volume created as part of the project Il Mito della Scrittura, realized with the support of Fondazione CRC.

The book collects the work carried out in recent months through therapeutic and creative writing workshops involving people living in places and conditions far from ordinary daily life: the A.B. Ottolenghi nursing home in Alba, the “G. Montalto” prison in Alba, and the volunteer association La Carovana, dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and their families.

A choral narrative that gives space back to the experiences, memories, and words of the people involved in the project.

The myths of Philomela and Arachne

At 6:20 PM, Gabriele Proglio, writer and associate professor of Contemporary History at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, will speak at the session “The myths of Philomela and Arachne, between silence and dialogue”.

His research focuses particularly on colonial and postcolonial history, migration, memory, and oral history. His research background includes experiences at the European University Institute and a period as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.

Music, street food, and conviviality

From 7:00 PM, Resonances will continue with a DJ set by Vincenzo Scalabrino and street food by COJ.

The bar service at Villa Moffa will also be active throughout the event: an opportunity to stop, meet, and experience the villa’s spaces even during the most informal moments of the day.
