Great Barbaresco vintages Negro Giuseppe

Barbaresco DOCG vertical tasting

The winery's premier tasting: Giorgio Negro presents several vintages of his Barbaresco DOCG production

Tasting of two Barbaresco DOCG labels, the winery’s flagship wine, from single-variety grapes and different vintages: a journey that lets you discover the history and production of one of the premier wines of this area.

During the tour, you’ll learn more about the grape varieties and vineyard management, as well as vinification methods, leading up to the most anticipated moment: the guided tasting.

The wines are served in the dedicated tasting room or on the panoramic terrace overlooking the production vineyards for an experience of taste and relaxation.

Founded in 1985 by enologist Giorgio Negro, the winery is located in Neive in the Gallina district, one of the most suitable areas for the production of typical Alba DOC and DOCG wines.

A few hundred meters away is the historic center of Neive, whose village is part of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy circuit.

The following labels will be offered during the tasting:

  • Barbaresco DOCG Gallina
  • Barbaresco DOCG Albesani
  • Barbaresco DOCG Pian Cavallo
