Program
The event will include discussion on various topics:
- Institutional Greetings: Mayor of Agliano Terme, President Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e vini del Monferrato, President BAart.
- Gorgonzola PDO: history, characteristics and use in the food and wine supply chain and in catering.
- Tasting a sweet and a spicy Gorgonzola DOP paired with Barbera d’Asti docg 2022 from Azienda Agricola Alessandro and Nizza docg 2020 from Fratelli Pavia.
- Trends and opportunities in wine tourism.
- Support for operators. Astesana Wine and Food Road.
- The Gorgonzola DOP in the kitchen: presentation and tasting of two dishes made with Gorgonzola DOP by chefs from the professional training agency Colline Astigiane – Scuola Alberghiera di Agliano Terme and Asti in paired with Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG 2021 from Tenuta Garetto and Nizza Riserva DOCG 2016 from Villa Giada.
