Cà Neuva is the typical farmhouse that is worth a visit.
Sergio Abbona, the owner, and his wife Silvia, know how to transmit their passion for wine and their work and welcome the visitor with great warmth.
The company is located in Dogliani, one of the most characteristic places of the Langhe, and extends on a surface of 10 hectares where the various vineyards, the cellar, the tasting room, the office and the house are distributed.
The beginning of the activity dates back to 1924, but already towards the end of the 1800s the Abbona family dedicated itself to viticulture, transmitting then to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren the love for this profession.
The gradual renewal over the years and the adoption of more modern and technological processing systems have allowed to obtain selected wines, elegant and harmonious, without however putting aside the tradition.

The Wines
Dogliani is the company's flagship wine.
Produced with dolcetto grapes, it is an elegant red, but not demanding.
The Dogliani Superiore is instead more structured and complex, with a spiced aroma and good acidity.
From the vineyards of Castiglione Falletto comes the Barolo, which is characterized by a great potential for aging and its round and harmonious taste.
Another great red is an assembly born in 2013 and dedicated to grandfather Celso, the founder of the company.
Hence the name of this wine composed of Barbera, Nebbiolo and Cabernet: Excelso.
The other red products are Barbera, Nebbiolo and a rosé, alongside whites: Roero Arneis and Tre Matote, a Spumante Metodo Classico.

Visits & Tastings
Once you arrive at your destination, the view extends over a landscape of soft hills, entirely covered with vineyards.
We are outside the farmhouse, in a large colonial space that offers great maneuverability for parking.
Silvia and Sergio await you for the presentations and take you to the tavern.
This is where the tasting of the company’s wines takes place, accompanied by tastings of local products and typical dishes, for a real aperitif in the cellar.
In a convivial atmosphere, Sergio narrates the history of each label, highlighting its organoleptic characteristics.
Once the tasting is over, you move into the fermentation and aging room, to discover the entire production process that ends with the bottling and labeling phases.
