The story of the NoccioleNatura farm is that of a land, the Langhe, and of a family that has dedicated itself to it for three generations.

It is the story of a fruit, the hazelnut, which in the hills of Castino finds the best conditions for growth and development, and which under the expert care of the Ferrino family gives life to very high-quality products.

Today, the company is in the hands of Massimo and Nicoletta, a young married couple, who, with the desire to renew themselves, have chosen to continue along this path and keep the family traditions alive: direct sale and processing of the IGP Piedmont Hazelnut.

The strength of NoccioleNatura starts from the raw material entirely of their own production, which guarantees traceability from cultivation to sale of the final product.

This results in a complete and varied line of hazelnut products: hazelnut kernels, flour, paste, creams, oil.

Our philosophy is to guarantee customers a superior raw material and direct traceability from cultivation to sale, and as the logo well summarises, a genuine and natural product.

Wellbeing and consumer satisfaction are our strength, those who choose NoccioleNatura products choose healthy and guaranteed products.

Hazelnuts from Alta Langa

The IGP Piedmont Hazelnut finds its maximum expression in the Alta Langa area, where the perfect balance between clay soil, a climate mitigated by Ligurian currents and the right altitude make this portion of Piedmont the optimal place for growing the Tonda Gentile Trilobata variety. Here precisely, among the hills of the Belbo and Bormida Valleys, not far from Liguria at an altitude of 700 metres, near the village of Castino, is the NoccioleNatura farm of Ferrino Massimo.

Visits & Tastings

Visit a small family-run business and learn more about the Langhe hazelnut

You are always welcomed to the farm by Massimo or his wife Nicoletta, who after greetings will take you on a short walk through the hazelnut groves, explaining the various stages of the work: from pruning to preparing the soil, to harvesting.

The tour will then continue to the farm, where you will be shown the next steps: the first cleaning phase, followed by drying and storage.

You will then proceed with the processing experience in the workshop, where you will witness first-hand the various moments that turn the hazelnut into a finished product.

The intense and delicate scent of roasted hazelnuts will accompany you throughout the tour, leaving you with a pleasant sensation of the natural aromas of this fantastic dry fruit.

At the end of the tour, you can finally taste the result of the work previously illustrated: a tasting of the company’s products will conclude your visit, like an inevitable icing on the cake!
