Igliano – Chiesa parrocchiale

Igliano

Less than 100 people spread in the many villages inhabit this little town in the Langhe.

Among the hills there’s the parish church of saint Andrew, in whose walls is included an ancient Roman rombstone.

This and other findings have made historians think that the town may have been founded in the Roman era.

Outside the town there are other interesting churches, such as San Ludovico (XVI century) and saint Sebastian, with its frescos.

Among the happenings in town, it’s worth a visit the “Meeting in the woods”, held every first Sunday in August.
