During Open Doors in the cellar you will have the opportunity to be accompanied directly by Maurizio Sanso, a young producer from Monforte, to discover his wines within the Barolo DOCG production area.

La Cantina
Cascina Sòt is the name of the ancient Langa farmstead, which according to some sources dates back more than 400 years.
Finely renovated, with an elegant tasting room, it is now home to the winery of the same name run by the Sanso family.
Maurizio, the young owner, assisted by his parents-in-law Silvana and Leonardo and sister Lorena, will welcome you to the farm, for the tour and guided tasting.
The vineyards
The vineyards are located between the lands adjacent to the winery, among the hills of Bricco San Pietro and San Giovanni, with a variable South/South-West and South/South-East exposure. The soil is calcareous clay.
Respect for the vineyard and for the environment are realized through the targeted use of pesticides, inter-row and under-row grassing.

The wines, their characteristics and gastronomic combinations are presented in a refined setting
There is a choice of two different types of tasting.
A walk through the vineyard, a visit to the winery and a tasting accompanied by a board of typical products: salami, cheese, bruschetta and roasted hazelnuts are always included.

The proposal includes 5 glasses proposed in the following order: Piedmont DOC Chardonnay, Rosato Tramonto wine, Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, Barbera d'Alba DOC, Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, Barolo DOCG. - Premium tasting → €30
The proposal includes a journey through the wines of the production including those of the highest range: Piedmont DOC Charonnay, Rosato Tramonto wine, Langhe DOC Nascetta, Barbera d'Alba DOC, Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore, Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, Barolo DOCG, Barolo DOCG Bricco San Pietro.
In order to better organize the tasting and reception of guests, the following time slots are available, within which reservations can be made.
