Roero, the lands of ochre and the spring festival

A magical April day on the Trails of Terre d’Ocra, in the heart of Roero, where history becomes legend…..witha tasty and convivial conclusion at Ciabot delle Masche.
Terre Alte offers you a unique experience in the most evocative and history-dense places of the Roero .
We will walk on the paths that cross the rift of the spectacular Rocche, geological formations made up of steep walls and pinnacles that, wrapped in the light of sunset, turn a deep ochre color.
We will travel through the Valley of Diana, a silent and mysterious place whose name recalls historical periods rooted in Roman times, and pass through the secluded historic center of Santo Stefano Roero.
The Diana Valley, The Honey and the Masche trails will let you discover places of great scenic beauty where you can feel the presence of unspoiled and wild nature.

Sinoira snack at Ciabot delle Masche

At the return, for those who wish, at the “Ciabot delle Masche,” a delightful quiet and secluded place surrounded by greenery, there will be a charming “merenda sinoira” prepared by the Aloi family.
Suitable for: cheerful people, companies of friends, families with children from 7 years old and up (used to walking), singles and singles, couples…..and all those who wish to spend a DAY outdoors, in an amazing area and in good company.
