Magical Gorzegno: Discover, meet, and be amazed
Music, theater, circus, dance, stories, meetings, and landscapes in Gorzegno
from Sunday

at 10:00
to Sunday
06 September 2026
until late night
Magical Gorzegno returns, the festival that brings diverse forms of art and culture to the village: music, theater, circus, dance, and performance, but also literature, meetings, markets, family activities, and moments dedicated to well-being.
The 2026 edition revolves around the theme “Elsewhere. Finding oneself in other places ”, an invitation to look at things from a different perspective thanks to art, stories, music, and the landscape.
For two days, Gorzegno is transformed into a place to be fully experienced through activities and shows, but that’s not all! Throughout the weekend, it will be possible to walk the Via delle Sibille, amidst tarot cards, runes, rituals, magic, and ancient knowledge, and meet the festival exhibitors!
You can also visit the exhibitions “PortrAIts” by AISM, dedicated to the intersection of art, artificial intelligence, and identity, and “Safe Places / Spazi Sicuri” by Fabio Orioli, an installation hosted in the San Martino Chapel within the Castle grounds, and on Sunday, the Magical Gorzegno Market and the producers of the Alba Earth Market.
And of course, Magical Gorzegno is also an opportunity for eating, drinking, and being together: at lunch and dinner, the lawn at the foot of the Castle will host the Pro Loco and food trucks, allowing you to experience the festival without haste between one performance and the next.
Sunday’s program
The protagonists of this second day of the festival are walking, playing, listening, meeting, and discovering the village and its landscape, through activities designed for adults, children, and families.
The program
The Magical Gorzegno Treasure Hunt, organized by Turismo in Langa, opens the day: a journey through the streets and the woods in search of clues, stories, and hidden places.
Lucrezia Porta and Giulia AstroYoga lead a yoga and Sound Healing experience, blending movement, breath, sound, and landscape in the iconic setting of the Castle.
Following this are the Tales from Elsewhere by the Scirò Collective and The Idiot, a staged reading from Dostoevsky with Gianfranco Coscarella.
Paolo Tibaldi is one of the afternoon’s highlights: he presents Lives of Langa and Roero, the book written with Carlo Petrini, in a meeting dedicated to the people, stories, and transformations of the Langhe and Roero.
Meanwhile, the village streets will be filled by the stilt parade and juggling of the Familupis, while in the square Mauro Faccioli will lead a grand Drum Circle open to everyone.
Mimmi Maselli and the Scirò Collective will perform The Fantastic Stories of Mr. Rockteller.
At 5:00 PM, Giulia Cammarota will return to the wire for a second, poetic high-wire crossing suspended above the square.
At 5:30 PM, the Compagnia del Nostro Teatro di Sinio, with Paolo Tibaldi, will stage Luna Park by Oscar Barile: an ironic and playful comedy that looks at the contemporary transformations of the Langhe, the relationship between tourism and community, and the memory of the villages of the past versus the places we are becoming.
At the same time, activities for children and families will continue with the Familupis and the wooden games of Val Varaita Gioco Legno.
At 7:00 PM, as the sun sets, one of the most spectacular events of Magical Gorzegno: EvoluzionAria brings aerial dance to hot air balloons on the lawn at the foot of the Castle.
Closing the festival will be Emiliano Blangero and Stefano Pedro Porro with The Illustrated Concert, in the castle area.
Blangero’s original compositions on the piano will meet the illustrations created live by Porro and projected in real time, creating a dialogue between music, art, and imagination.
