All in a Suitcase

An imaginary hotel, guests laden with old suitcases, and an eccentric porter grappling with a mountain of luggage.

We are in the 1930s, and music accompanies an overwhelming struggle against chaos. But after years spent carrying suitcases, the protagonist has learned to see the world from a different perspective, transforming routine into play and toil into imagination.

Suitcases within suitcases within suitcases: objects that continuously change shape, becoming animals, impossible architectures, precarious ladders, and surprising poetic landscapes.

Through clown, physical theater, object manipulation, and circus skills, Luigi Ciotta creates a hilarious and deeply human performance that invites us to rediscover the extraordinary hidden in everyday life. A light and poetic reflection on work, on precariousness, and on the ability to reinvent reality through play and imagination.
