Enseres

Enseres is born from a house that changes owner without arriving empty.

In 2025 Merche Moriana enters a dwelling still inhabited, in some way, by the objects of those who had lived there before her: chairs, cups, pots, glasses, fabrics, small domestic objects.

Suspended everyday presences between what they had been and what they would become.

Before preserving them, transforming them or letting them go, the artist chooses to pause and look at them.

Through photography, the objects are withdrawn for a moment from their function and become traces, waiting, memories.

Enseres inhabits precisely this fragile threshold: the suspended time between inheriting, inhabiting and transforming.

A gesture of attention toward what normally disappears without ceremony and an intimate reflection on the capacity of the most common things to safeguard the memory of a life.

Merche Moriana

Merche Moriana (Spain, 1994), originally from Casariche (Seville), is a visual artist, photographer and cultural designer.

Her research develops primarily through constructed photography and investigates memory, identity and the most intimate dimension of human experience.

Through a slow and careful process of staging, photography and post-production, she builds images with a strong pictorial and symbolic component, suspended between reality and imagination.

Her work has been presented in Spain and Italy, including Escuela Apertura in Málaga, Fundación Bancaja, Galería Rampa in Linares, Centro Carmen de Burgos in Baeza, Palazzo Merulana and Galería Bresciani in Rome and Casa del Conte Verde in Rivoli.

With Enseres, Moriana shifts her gaze from the human figure to everyday objects, continuing to question memory and the traces that people leave behind.

Abraham Parrón Rivero

Abraham Parrón Rivero (Cazalla de la Sierra, 1982) is an art historian, curator and cultural designer.

He graduated in Art History from the University of Seville in 2007, and subsequently deepened his training in museology, museography and graphic design.

In 2022 he obtained a Master’s in Advanced Research Methods and Techniques for Art Historians from UNED and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Art and Heritage program at the University of Seville.

Throughout his career he has worked as technical director of the Cajasol Art Collection, participating directly in numerous museographic projects, and has curated and realized over 25 contemporary art exhibitions.

Since 2013 he has been founder of TURnature, a project dedicated to cultural and tourism management in the territories of the Sierra Morena of Seville.

Between 2016 and 2020 he directed the Espacio de Felicidad y Cultura Contemporánea de Cazalla and the Centro del Aguardiente de Cazalla, while since 2025 he has directed two cultural projects of international character: ARCAS – Encuentro de Arte Urbano y Territorio de Casariche and Atalaya – Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Justicia Social y Derechos Humanos.

He is also creator of El Museo Invisible, a project dedicated to the search for new ways of living, interpreting and narrating museums, developed since 2016 in various cultural and educational contexts.

Since 2021 he has been associate professor at Universidad Loyola Andalucía, in the Faculty of Communication and Arts, where he teaches Art History and Aesthetics and Artistic Appreciation.

Inauguration

The opening is scheduled for September 11 at 5:00 PM and includes the possibility of experiencing a free tasting journey dedicated to local products and the short supply chain.
