SensoVia Experiences that nourish the senses, between tasting and awareness

May 28, 2025
SensoVia - Una colazione con vista a 360° sul territorio

In Albaretto Torre, among hazelnut groves, vineyards, chapels, and ancient towers, an experiential project is born—bringing together local food and wine products, unique locations, and genuine hospitality.

A light and spontaneous approach to discovering, tasting, and experiencing the landscape with all the senses, guided by wines, honey, cheeses, cured meats, hazelnuts, and other local flavors. Every bite carries the voice of its maker and the story behind it.

Here, time slows down, allowing you to be guided by sensations that speak of identity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the land.

SensoVia is a unique way to discover and taste carefully selected local products, enjoyed in unforgettable and one-of-a-kind settings.

A different way to experience Alta Langa – slow, mindful, and full of wonder.

SensoVia is the result of the creative energy of Ilenia from LoveLanghe Tour and her team: a recent idea that took shape by blending vision, love for the territory, and a constant drive for discovery and collaboration.

But what is SensoVia? Delights to taste, places to remember

SensoVia invites you to discover and taste carefully selected local products, enjoyed in unique and memorable settings. It’s not a bar, nor simply a place to grab a bite.

Each gastronomic experience tells the story of the territory by engaging all the senses: taste, sight, smell, touch, and sound.

There are light options that can be prepared on the spot – perfect for a breakfast, brunch, or a spontaneous aperitif – and more structured tastings that require booking in advance, where each product is presented and explained, so you can discover its story and how it’s made. The range goes from hazelnuts to honey, from oils to vermouths.

It doesn’t matter if you are short on time or craving total immersion: here you always find the right formula to feel part of the landscape and its flavors.

Whether you are short on time or craving total immersion, you always find the right formula to feel part of the landscape and its flavors.

Any examples? A sweet awakening with artisanal juice and hazelnut cupcake on the rooftop terrace, a light lunch surrounded by greenery, a sunset aperitif at the top of the tower.

Everything is designed to be flexible: each menu adapts to personal tastes, intolerances, and curiosities, and each experience can be arranged according to the time of day, the season, and the desires of the moment.

The other little gems offered by SensoVia

If your soul is romantic, SensoVia also offers you the chance to have an exclusive experience with a private chef who cooks traditional dishes just for you.

Do you need to organize a more elaborate event? SensoVia is also an open space that allows you to plan birthdays, team-building activities, presentations, exhibitions, or special celebrations.

Thanks to a network of local collaborators, outside caterers, artists, food trucks or musicians can be involved to create unique moments, always respecting the identity of the place.

Every occasion is an opportunity to tell the story of the area and share it with others.

Atmospheres that complete the experience

Taste is essential, but atmosphere is an integral part of the experience. Intimate, scenic and surprising, each location has its own voice, its own breath. You choose your favorite set.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces are perfect if you love to stand in the sun and enjoy the view that sweeps over the Alta Langa and takes your eyes as far as Monviso.

In warm seasons, being outdoors puts everyone in a good mood.

The medieval tower

Built in the 12th century for defensive purposes, today it is one of the most striking viewpoints in the country.

Standing 28 meters tall, the climb consists of 112 steps distributed among an external spiral staircase, internal stair ramps, and a very short final section with slightly inclined rungs.

At the top, you’ll find a four-sided open terrace, equipped with tables and chairs for up to 10 people.

For safety reasons, there are no umbrellas, but straw hats and blankets will be provided.

The panoramic terrace

A spacious terrace in front of the tourist office, where you can relax and take in the view of vineyards, hazelnut groves, and the castle of Serralunga. Easily accessible and perfect for unwinding.

The garden

At the foot of the tower, this sunny, grassy garden offers a scenic and original setup: wooden crates to hold your food and drinks, and hay bales as seating.

If the sun gets too intense, umbrellas provide some welcome shade.

Indoors

Whether you want to shelter from bad weather, enjoy a more intimate vibe, or keep warm, you can enjoy your food indoors too.

The deconsecrated chapel

Located above the tourist office, in the same building, this chapel is locally known as the “Chiesa dei Battuti,” although the name isn’t officially confirmed. Inside, you’ll find an original fresco, although the artist is unknown.

It’s a unique space where temporary exhibitions are hosted, in collaboration with local artists and artistic or photographic associations from the region.

Cool in summer and heated in winter, the setting is simple yet welcoming. You can pick a romantic corner with hay bales and wooden crates, or go for the practicality of tables and chairs, which can seat up to 30 people.

The old cellar

Exclusive and private, it’s just a short two-minute walk from the tourist office. This intimate and charming space is set in an old cellar built with traditional Langa stone.

Inside, you’ll find a wood-fired oven, a traditional wood-burning stove, antique furniture, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere – perfect for small groups. It comfortably seats 10–12 people around a single table.

On the go

The experiences extend into nature, as they can be turned into picnics and enjoyed in the vineyard, the hazelnut grove, or wherever you prefer!

The girls from LoveLanghe Tour can suggest some scenic spots to stop at along an easy 4 km loop trail, which is also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

Each picnic is designed to accompany your walk while keeping food and drinks cool, thanks to a personalized cooler bag provided for you—yours to return or purchase at the end of the experience.

The network that makes the difference

Behind every SensoVia experience, there’s constant research and careful selection. Ilenia works only with producers who share values like respect for the environment, organic practices, and attention to recyclable materials.

Behind every SensoVia experience, there’s constant research and careful selection. When something is missing from the offer, new producers are sought out, new contacts are made, and the network keeps growing.

You can also buy the same top-quality products featured in the menus right inside the tourist office—which also serves as a shop. A simple way to take home a piece of your experience and share it with those who weren’t there.

But the real added value of SensoVia is that the experience doesn’t end with the food. If you’d like, you can continue your journey by visiting the producers’ farms and facilities—discovering where it all begins.

An opportunity to meet the people behind the products, learn about their work and hear their stories: the next step in truly understanding what makes these flavours so special.
