Turin Salone del Vino 2025 a must-attend event for experts and wine lovers alike

The Salone del Vino 2025 closed its third edition with extraordinary success, confirming it as one of Italy’s most important wine events.
From March 1 to 3, the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin welcomed more than 9,000 participants (ed. according to the first data transmitted), including enthusiasts, industry professionals and international buyers.
The city, already renowned for its gastronomic excellence, is establishing itself as a reference point for Italian wine culture, with a focus on regional productions.
An event then that saw the celebration of Piedmontese wine (and more) in all its facets, including tradition, innovation and technical insights through the 50 dedicated masterclasses was a remarkable success, with more than 2,000 participants and completely sold-out sessions.
The event featured hundreds of producers, from historic wineries to small up-and-coming winemakers, each with a story to tell and a product to be discovered.
The masterclasses and guided tastings were a highlight of the event, allowing people to learn more about the characteristics of Piedmontese grape varieties and compare them with other Italian and international varieties.
Having a chance to talk to winemakers is always the best way to really understand a label: the philosophy of production, the choices in the vineyard and cellar, the passion passed down from generation to generation.
The world of wine is constantly evolving, amid technical innovations, new appellations and consumer trends. Events like this one offer a privileged look at what is changing.
The Salone del Vino was also a unique opportunity to explore gastronomic excellence in many facets: the presence of Maestri del Gusto, gourmet food trucks and Snodo ‘s culinary offerings at OGR’s Binario 2 enriched the visitors’ experience, offering a perfect combination of food and wine.
The event was not limited to the OGR exhibition spaces, but transformed the entire city into a food and wine stage with the OFF of the Salone.
From February 24 to March 3, Turin hosted more than 50 events spread across the city’s restaurants, wine bars, piole and iconic locations. An experience that took wine culture beyond the historic center, into every neighborhood, creating a convivial atmosphere accessible to all.
This edition left a clear mark: wine culture is no longer exclusive to a niche, but represents a common language that unites producers, restaurateurs, merchants and enthusiasts in an ongoing dialogue.
Turin was transformed into a great living room of taste, where every glass told a story and every encounter opened new perspectives: if wine is sharing, then the Turin Salone del Vino was its perfect interpreter. See you at the next edition!
