June 14, 2024

If you’ve planned a vacation in the Langhe and, after a few visits with tastings at some of the area’s wineries, you’d like to go a little further and also indulge in another great Italian excellence, drop by Turin.

It is the ideal destination for a day of culture and taste-a truly beautiful city worth visiting if you are already in Piedmont. In addition, you can stop by to discover EDIT, which is not just a brewery, but a real world unto itself.

A multifunctional hub

EDIT ‘s story began in 2017, when the former Incet electric cable factory was transformed into a multifunctional hospitality hub.

An incredible space that houses, in addition to the brewery, several restaurants, a pub, a cocktail bar and a cozy garden space.

It is more than just a place to eat and drink, it is a meeting place for cultural, artistic and musical events.

The brewery

EDIT beers are characterized by ease of drinking, such that they meet the diverse demands and trends of the HoReCa world.

They are handcrafted with passion and expertise and are unfiltered and unpasteurized. The goal is to meet the highest quality standards in the market.

Even your palate will not be disappointed because the proposal is really wide and varied and will please just about everyone.

The bonus? The venue is really quite beautiful and knows how to make thetasting experience even more atmospheric : an environment that winks at modernity but maintains a traditional familiarity.

Efficiency and sustainability: the Green plant of the future

Thanks to innovative 4.0 technology, the plants are able to save 30 percent of water resources at each production cycle, and waste threshers are fully reused in biogas production.

For packaging EDIT chooses the can, which is composed of aluminum, an infinitely recyclable metal alloy, much more than glass! In addition, it is significantly lighter and more impact resistant.

Aluminum is also a good conductor of heat so it cools quickly, protects the beer 100 percent from light and oxidation, and is easily stackable, as well as being space-saving.

Cuisine and cocktails

Speaking of cuisine, EDIT never disappoints. The restaurants offer a variety ranging from traditional Piedmontese dishes to more innovative proposals.

Dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients designed to satisfy every taste. The menu offers a wide range of options, not forgetting the needs of those who have food intolerances or follow a vegetarian or vegan diet.

From fine first courses to succulent main courses and artisanal desserts, each course is a riot of authentic and refined flavors, perfect to accompany each of the craft beers brewed on site.

And for those who love cocktails, there are some real treats here, all to be discovered. Experienced mixologists will surprise you with unique creations, perfect for an aperitif or to end the evening on a high note.

Events and culture

EDIT It’s not just food and drink. This place is a true cultural hub. Live concerts, movie nights with thematic dishes, noir literature festivals and DJ sets are just some of the activities offered. Each event is designed to enhance local talent and promote inclusion.

In addition, if you are looking for the ideal location to hold corporate events, there is everything for you. On the second floor of the building are several private rooms, perfect for presentations and team building, some overlooking the main kitchen, others with private kitchenettes.

Luxury lofts for unforgettable stays

The third floor of the building that houses EDIT has been home to twelve luxury lofts since its inception, where design, art and refined selection of furniture elements combine to create cozy and functional solutions.

While in recent years they had been offered exclusively for long stays, as of today lofts are again being rented out for short stays or private events. In particular, loft number 12, with its two outdoor terraces, is particularly suitable for exclusive meetings or parties in privacy.

In short, you have a unique experience here that goes far beyond just visiting a brewery. A comprehensive and diverse offering ranging from high-quality craft beer, excellent gastronomy, innovative cocktails, and cultural and artistic events .

If I’ve tickled your fancy, next time you pass through Turin you have a stop to make in your travel journal!
