Alba’s “G. Ferrero” Civic Library closes its “The Tree Tells…” series with a double date.
“Puppet Night” is scheduled for Friday, July 19 : from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., all children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Library and leave it with the librarians.
What will the puppets do during the night? Will they read? Will they sleep? Will they peek through the shelves?
Puppet Night is inspired by the Stuffed Animals Sleepover, a practice popular in the U.S. and Japan under the name Nuigurumi Otomarikai.
The following morning, Saturday, July 20, children can return to the Library to retrieve their stuffed animal, discover its nighttime adventures and, at 10:30 a.m., listen to stories read by volunteer readers Nati per Leggere Piemonte.
At the end of the morning, each child will collect a souvenir photo of the experience and can borrow the book his puppet chose for him.
