The Roero of Frederick Barbarossa

The event Il Roero di Federico Barbarossa – Nel cuore del Roero fra arte, cultura e tradizioni (The Roero of Frederick Barbarossa – In the heart of the Roero among art, culture and traditions) will take place on Sunday, March 3, in Monteu Roero.

Program

The visit to the encampment

Starting at 2 p.m., it will be possible to visit the medieval encampment and participate in falconry workshops near the castle.

The course

A mini falconry course for aspiring falconers will begin at 3 p.m.

The flight

A flight demonstration will be held at 5 p.m.

The walks

It will also be an opportunity to take walks in one of the most beautiful areas of the Rocks, at a time when the vegetation has little foliage and spectacular walls and ravinescan be seen.
The event is organized by the Bel Monteu Cultural and Tourist Association, which is planning a second medieval event with archers and swordsmen on Sunday, March 24.
