Wandering in Langa

Easter and Easter Monday in the Langhe: our proposals

March 26, 2018

Keep talking about Easter and it will arrive“, we say in Italy.

And here it is, punctual as ever, to remind us that every winter comes to an end.

This year in particular, since the cold and the snow didn’t give us any respite, the need for relaxation and warmth is shared by everyone.

What better occasion than the long Easter weekend to enjoy some well-earned rest?

The only thing left to do is to cross our fingers for a favorable climate and try to balance the flow of friends and relatives.

Lunches

In these days of celebration everyone is expecting lavish lunches, but it’s not always easy to find a volunteer who is willing to take the responsibility of cooking.

And in a land like the Langhe, where every corner is full of passionate and honest food, the choice of eating out is anything but rare.

The proposals cover every kind of preference, whether you opt for a touch of refinement or for a place where you can feel at home.

Here are some of our ideas:

Let yourself be delighted by the Easter and Easter Monday menu at the “Il Vigneto” restaurant in Roddi

A few steps from Alba, that finding a more “Langarolo” place is impossible, you’ll encounter a traditional farmhouse with a balanced touch of modernity.

The location is fully surrounded by Barolo vineyards, to remind of the value of this hills.

In the restaurant “Il Vigneto” the dishes are in perfect harmony with the mood: traditional, fresh and seasonal.

Experiences

Although food is undoubtedly the protagonist of this weekend, not everyone wants to surrender to binge and rest in the shade of a tree.

The experiences proposed in the Langhe range from organized walks to a dive into the world of enology: families, young people, the elderly, everyone will find his own.

A romantic excursion in the paths of the Roero

One of the landscapes of the excursion

The climate seems favorable, and the surrounding area is certainly exciting.

Easter and Easter Monday are almost here and a little stretch before sitting at the table is a must.

The Terre Alte association offers us, for Saturday 31 March, an excursion among castles, orchards, precious vineyards, green and silent valleys, religious places and breathtaking views.

The walk, of difficulty E (suitable for all ages) will last 6 hours with various breaks and resting moments, at a cost of 10 euros for all participants over 18 years. Discover the program
