Through Festival gets into full swing with events throughout the provinces of Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria.
A kaleidoscope of events ranging from meetings with journalists and writers such as Vittorio Zincone and Gianrico Carofiglio, to world-opening performances such as the environmental music reading by Cristiano Godano (Marlene Kuntz) and Telmo Pievani, and the Terconauti show on autism.
Thoughts on the future of museums in the digital transition are also addressed with the director of the Egyptian Museum of Turin Christian Greco.
Two distinct approaches to language emerge with Alessandro Bergonzoni and sociolinguist Vera Gheno.

Words are central to our lives and open up endless opportunities, so we should establish a real, healthy, free, mature loving relationship with them.
Words enable us to live better and give us the chance to change the world. With these statements, sociolinguist Vera Gheno returns to address the topic of language at Attraverso Festival, this time with the monologue “Grammamanti,” presented Thursday, July 18, in Calamandrana Alta (AT).
What does it mean to be a grammamancer? A grammamancer is one who loves language in a nonviolent way, studies it and thus understands that he or she must leave it free to change according to the evolutions of society, that is, the uses that people make of it every day by talking about it.
To be a grammarnazi, on the other hand, means to defend language by locking oneself inside a fortress of certainties that are as monolithic as they are almost always slender; those who decide to embrace the grammamant philosophy, on the other hand, are not afraid to abandon linguaplacticism, that is, the belief that the words we use are sacred, immovable and unchanging.
Because fortunately, despite the violent will of those who would always want them to be the same, words change: some change, some die, but others are born at the same time.
