Langhe Truffle simulated truffle hunt

One of the most popular experiences for tourists while staying in the Langa is truffle hunting.

You can enjoy this experience accompanied by the trifulau Massimiliano Bertello and his faithful Kelly, the tabui (dog).

Learn the tricks of the trade on this truffle hunting excursion

You will be taken, in your own vehicle or by car for up to four people, through the UNESCO hills of the Langhe and Roero, to one of the four natural truffle grounds.

The price is the same for groups of up to 4 people, and from the fifth person onwards the additional cost is €10 per person; children under 10 are free.

This is not an exclusive experience: the trifulau may take the liberty of joining multiple groups for scheduling convenience, and it is indeed possible that you will be accompanied by other curious visitors.

The meeting point is agreed upon directly with Massimiliano.

Finding a truffle is guaranteed, as it is a simulated hunt within truffle grounds. The discovery of spontaneously ripened truffles is not excluded.

The hunt locations: Natural truffle grounds in Roddi (Ravinali district), Barbaresco, La Morra (Annunziata district).

In case of unfavorable weather conditions or impassable terrain, the trifulau reserves the right to cancel the hunt.

The truffles found during the hunt belong to the trifulau, but can be purchased at the end of the hunt, based on weight and seasonal value.

Clothing suitable for a hike in the woods, such as hiking boots or boots, is recommended. Pets are not allowed as they could distract the dog, Kelly.

This is an experience to be enjoyed respectfully, so as not to disturb the delicate balance of the forest.
