Come and discover an authentic Langa farmhouse in the small hamlet of Santa Lucia in Dogliani.
The winery tasting
Together with the Abbona family, you’ll sip wines that are the fruit of a lifetime spent in the vineyards: Arneis, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Barolo, Dolcetto in all its variations, and a secret recipe grape blend.
Meanwhile, the dishes arrive, one for each label in search of the perfect pairing: salsa tonnata, raw salami, pancetta, and lardo to start.
Then come the cheeses, accompanied by cugnà (a typical grape-based sauce), followed by dessert: paste di meliga, the delicious cornmeal biscuit typical of the Cuneo area.
In the meantime, Sergio Abbona tells you the story of the wine you’re drinking: from the first buds of spring to the harvest, and you’ll even discover original anecdotes and stories behind some of the labels offered.
Afterwards, you’ll move to the fermentation and aging room to discover the wine production process, from grape selection to bottling and labeling.

Discover the faces behind the experience
Cà Neuva is a typical farmhouse that is well worth a visit. Sergio Abbona, the owner, and his wife Silvia, know how to convey their passion for wine and their work, welcoming visitors with great warmth.
The winery is located in Dogliani, one of the most characteristic spots in the Langhe, and spans an area of 10 hectares where the various vineyards, the cellar, the tasting room, the office, and the home are located.
The business started in 1924, but the Abbona family was already dedicated to viticulture toward the end of the 1800s, passing down the love for this craft to their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gradual renovation over the years and the adoption of more modern and technological processing systems have made it possible to obtain select wines that are elegant and harmonious, without setting tradition aside.
