The Bel Sit winery

You are in the historic home of Barbera d’Asti DOCG, and tradition has it that the production of Barbera di Castagnole delle Lanze, named after the municipality, began right here at this winery.

Andrea and Gianpiero Scavino, owners of Bel Sit, belong to a family of winegrowers. In 2019, they purchased the entire Bel Sit property, choosing to invest in Barbera d’Asti and the Castagnole delle Lanze area, the home of this historic wine.

This is a red wine that today stands as a product of excellence, earning the appreciation of critics and connoisseurs alike and holding its own among the great reds.

You'll taste the Barbera d'Asti La Turna—a word referring to the section of the vineyard running from top to bottom. It's an excellent expression of the Barbera grape, sure to impress anyone new to the world of red wines. It's a simple, accessible wine that ages in steel for six months and refines in the bottle for the same period.
