Impressions of Langa

SensoVia and the Municipality of Albaretto della Torre are pleased to host the exhibition of works by artist Camilla Poli.

The exhibition

The exhibition was born from an encounter with the Langhe landscape: the watercolors tell of hills, vineyards, and the atmosphere of the territory, alongside animals observed in their natural beauty.

The exhibition path is also an exploration of the many expressive possibilities of watercolor.

The artist experiments with different techniques, allowing the water itself to participate in the creation of the work: the use of abundant water lets the color flow and blend freely, creating ever-changing shades and atmospheres.

Salt, splashes, and other spontaneous effects become tools for achieving texture, movement, and particular visual suggestions.

The result is a painting where control and chance meet.

The Langhe are thus told not only through what the artist observes, but also through the way watercolor interprets light, matter, and atmosphere.

A path dedicated to nature and experimentation, where landscape and animal converse through water, color, and gesture.

Camilla Poli

Camilla Poli is a young watercolor artist originally from Liguria, now living in the Langhe, a place that marked for her the beginning of a new journey, both personal and artistic.

From the first encounter, the hills and landscapes of this land fascinated and won her over: the light, the colors, and the changes of nature become important sources of inspiration.

In her watercolors she seeks to capture an atmosphere, a gaze, an emotion tied to what surrounds her.

The watercolor technique allows her to tell of nature with lightness, leaving space for sensitivity.

Animals and landscapes become protagonists of a story made of observation and simplicity.

Her work is born from the desire to create a dialogue with the territory she now feels deeply her own.

In her works, Camilla tells of the Langhe through her own gaze, transforming what she sees into emotion and color.
