The parish church of the Annunziata

Arriving in Cerretto Langhe you will find the church of the Annunziata on your left. It’s an elegant building onthe top of a little hummock; built in neogothic style, it’s the result of the restoring of an older church – of which some features, such as the architrave and two little marble statues, are still visible -, made in 1864 by Giovanni Battista Schellino.

His architecture is typically romantic and fantastic; he often includes in his projects pinnacles and spires, red brick finishing and decorations.

Also the inside of the building, now being restored, shows the same characteristics.
