Restè Natura Tour Steps, art, and horizons

Snacks + trekking

A journey exploring the deep bond between man and the environment through the paths of the Bassa Langa

If you’re looking for direct contact with the land, this tour is designed for you. Moving on foot between Rodello, Montelupo, and Diano d’Alba, the landscape reveals itself along the paths, turning every step into a discovery.

Horizons that open up suddenly give you a new perspective on the Langhe. Here, the works of Resté become your reference points between dirt ground and the scent of leaves: walking means slowing your heartbeat to synchronize it with that of the hills.

The effort of trekking combines with the pleasure of the two gastronomic stops, moments where the flavor of local products completes what your eyes have just admired.

    Rodello

Your journey begins in Rodello. Here, you can delve into the genesis of Resté among the works of the Residence and the silence of the Church. Stop in front of Seb's work for the first snack of the day: a tasting based on Langhe hazelnuts, designed as a sensory listening exercise to tune in with the territory before setting off.

    Montelupo Albese

Reach Montelupo Albese and get into the heart of the experience with a 90-minute trek on the Wolf's Path (Sentiero del Lupo). Following the tracks that cut through the hills, you can see how Seb's mural integrates perfectly into the rural environment. The effort of the walk will find its reward in a rejuvenating panoramic picnic.

    Arrival at the Masche

    Diano d'Alba

The route continues uphill towards the Spianamento of Diano d’Alba. A walk to the viewpoint leads you to the second snack, this time guided directly by the producer: a rare opportunity to taste the hazelnut right where it grows, listening to the stories of those who cultivate it. The journey concludes between history and myth, with a nod to the legendary Masche, who have inhabited the imagination of these hills for centuries.
