Monticello, location of the Rocche di Montexelo holiday home & SPA, is one of the oldest villages in Roero, far from mass tourism.
The four newly built apartments overlooking the private castle of the Conti Roero await you with green solutions with low environmental impact, proven by the international GREEN KEY certification n. IT0084 -GK09011.
And let’s not even get started with the Castle, which proudly observes those who relax on the splendid terrace! It just waits to be reached with a quick walk, to welcome you with its guided tours.
Walking downhill, instead, you’ll find the work “Frammenti” by the artist Valerio Berruti, with one hundred frescoed and partly glazed concrete tiles in white, a puzzle that creates figures of children, all different and all the same.
Near the structure, a path network winds for about 100 km suitable for trekking and bicycle excursions, in the midst of the nature of vineyards and hazelnut groves.

The Rooms
The hospitality offered by the holiday home consists of four atmospheres, distinguished by names that recall the history of the "rocche" of Roero.
Conchiglie di Luna (Moon shells, 25sqm), Cristalli di Sale (Crystals of salt, 27sqm), Sabbie Dorate (Golden Sands, 32sqm) and Specchi d’Acqua (Mirrors of Water, 37sqm): all names that refer to the sea, which millions of years ago covered these lands.
Even the colors and furnishings respect the theme, with shades of sand and water and a stillness and serenity reminiscent of the slow movement of the waves.
The antique furniture all date back to the early 1900s, expertly restored to combine the history and past of the family with modern comfort.
Each room is equipped with: retractable kitchen with dining table, touch induction hob, extractor hood, coffee machine, microwave oven, refrigerator, sheets, double pillows, towels, tablecloth and napkins.
The bathroom, private in each apartment, is also equipped with everything you need for a top-level stay, with shower, bidet, hair dryer and a courtesy set.
All interior spaces are air-conditioned, with a hot/cold system to offer the best comfort in all seasons.
The new swimming pool!
An additional gift for guests, especially in warm weather, the facility’s swimming pool is designed to be as green as the rest!
In fact, it was filled with treated rainwater, and is heated thanks to solar panels and the use of biomass, the same used to heat the accommodations: hazelnut shells! Find out the opening hours and useful info in the prices and services section.

This path will allow you to have an emotional experience with your partner/family/friends exclusively and without staff, with automated systems of whirlpool tub, emotional shower, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and chromotherapy.
An herbal tea corner with Samovar (metal container, traditionally used in Russia to heat water) awaits you with fresh fruit and fruit juices, while a bottle of wine will accompany excellent pastries.
There is also a 43 “TV and a stereo system, where you can listen to your favorite music with a USB stick.
Alternatively, the melodies you will find upon your arrival will be those of Emiliano Toso, Cell Biologist and Musician Composer at 432Hz.

Opening hours of SPA
The exclusive SPA is for 3 hours of your choice only by reservation with a minimum of one day in advance.
The available times are:
