This is how the Albarretta came to life, a handcrafted bar, healthy and tasty, designed for those who love to experience the Langhe at a slow pace or on two wheels.

An idea born from the land and its needs

Ilenia Colucci from LoveLanghe, the soul of the project, tells us about it. Listening to the needs of walkers and cyclists, she involved producers to create something that was still missing: a bar that was truly local, light, tasty, and sustainable.

No industrial ingredients, no compromises. Only what the land can offer at its best.

The Albarretta was born from a real need. More and more people are exploring our land by trekking or bike touring, and they often asked us for a local, good, natural product to keep in their pocket and use as a recharge during the journey. We decided to create it.

The spark, looking at the land from above

The starting point is symbolic: the panoramic tower of Albaretto della Torre. From up there, the project was born.

We looked around from 28 meters high, with a 360° view, and identified our partners, creating a sustainable supply chain in terms of nutrition and community.

Small local companies working with hazelnuts, honey, fruit, and cereals. All zero kilometers, all truly good.

The Albarretta Recipe

The recipe is shaped by Luana from Cascina Buschea, who assembles all the products in her artisanal workshop.

The Albarretta speaks clearly and is deeply territorial:

• 45% hazelnut
• 17% dried fruit from Diano d’Alba
• 17% honey from Roddi
• a touch of corn from Alta Langa

A completely local visual identity

Even the graphics speak the language of the land. They are signed by local illustrator Giulia Porello, who has transformed the panoramic tower of Albaretto into a symbolic and recognizable element.

The result? A stylized icon that recalls the shape of the bar itself, creating an immediate connection between the product and its place of origin.

This image accompanies labels, packaging, and display materials, becoming the distinctive mark of a project born—and grown—with roots firmly planted in the land of the Langhe.
