tra cielo e terra mostra

The Me Langa photography collective announces its upcoming photography exhibition entitled Between Heaven and Earth, which will be held in Bossolasco from April 20 to May 5 in the town hall (former Church of the Battuti), Piazza Oberto 2.

Organized by theOrder of the Knights of the Langhe and the Insieme association, in collaboration with the University of Turin’s Lifeorchids project and the Cuneo section of Lipu (Italian League for the Protection of Birds), the exhibition is an opportunity to explore the extraordinary biodiversity of the Langhe through the lens of the collective’s photographers.

The images capture unique moments of birds in flight, searching for food or nesting in the Langhe’s most striking locations, along with wild orchids, the stars of breathtaking landscapes that highlight their vulnerable beauty.

The exhibition not only aims to celebrate the beauty of the Langhe, but also wants to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the area’s unique ecosystem.

Special openings will be organized for local schools, allowing students to explore the exhibit and better understand the crucial role birds and orchids play as indicators of environmental health.

The opening will be attended by Alba actor Paolo Tibaldi, who will entertain the audience with a journey through Piedmontese expressions dedicated to nature.

Roberto Coro, of the collective, explains:

The Me Langa photography project is growing every year, and this exhibition is another step forward in terms of quality, both in terms of content and the materials used for the images

He goes on to talk about the work of young students:

A further and important point of growth is the involvement of the local school world, both for the realization of part of the multimedia content, thanks to the collaboration of the third class (audiovisual-multimedia address) of the Pinot Gallizio High School of Art in Alba, and for the dissemination and promotion to the new generations of the importance of safeguarding the natural environment, through guided tours in which students will participate
