When one hears the expression the heart of the Langhe, one cannot help but think of the village of La Morra.
It is easily reached by driving the scenic roads coming from Alba, Barolo, and the Langa Monregalese, with its recognizable profile and belvederes.
It is a pleasure to visit it in autumn when the colors of the vineyards offer warm hues and the roads are traveled by trekking and cycling enthusiasts, who come from all over the world to enjoy the quiet and the food and wine specialties of the area.
The accommodation facility
In one of the narrow streets of the historic center leading to the Belvedere square, among stores, bars and restaurants, is Uve Rooms, a modern, charming accommodation, ideal for a stay of excellence.
The recently restored building still retains some architectural elements of the past, columns, arches and vaults.
Designer furniture, soft lighting effects and works by artist Cristina Pas give the room a refined, almost dreamlike atmosphere.

Breakfasts are served at the Wine Bar, a venue also open to outside visitors.
Choices range from Piedmontese cakes and pastries, jams, brioches, breads, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, juices, and fresh fruit.
The kitchen, open all day, offers guests informal traditional dishes, from appetizer to dessert, ideal for a quick meal, a relaxing moment, an aperitif with friends or an intimate tête-à-tête.
The selection of white, red and sparkling wines is dedicated to producers from La Morra, the Langhe and other wine-growing areas. The offerings are expanded by a wide selection of cocktails, teas and herbal teas.
In addition, menus with items suitable for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans are available.

Kitchen offerings range from traditional vitello tonnato to poached egg with fondue, from handmade agnolotti del plin to stracotto al Barolo.
When in season, the unfailing protagonist is the truffle in its prized varieties.
There is also a selection of cheeses, local cured meats and more, desserts and sorbets.

Barolo Suite

It is a unique and refined environment designed as a eulogy to the nobility of Barolo wine.
It features the classic-modern contrast of ancient columns with Cristina Pas‘s work Decomposed Frames.
Barbaresco Suite
35 sq m room with double bed on loft, living room with sofa bed, bathroom with shower and view of inner courtyard. Ideal for families of 4.

The romantic loft with exposed beams overlooks the living room, which converts to a sleeping area with two twin beds when needed.
