Holidays
In an emblematic place in the Barolo territory, where the historic Cannubi and Brunate hills meet, operates this winery, founded in the early 1930s by Francesco Borgogno.
The love and passion for these lands and vineyards has been handed down from father to son for three generations.
Today the winery is run by Francesco’s sons, Giancarlo and Claudio, who with their daughter-in-law Silvia follow every stage of production starting from the management of the vineyards to the care of the winery and sales.
The Wines
A small production that relies exclusively on vinification of grapes from estate vineyards.
The soils are in one of the best locations in La Morra: the Brunate cru.
With more than 80 years of experience and a strong rootedness to winemaking traditions, the Borgogno family works to produce wines of excellent quality while respecting the environment, choosing to cultivate their vines sustainably and practicing mechanical weeding.
The main product and symbol of the area is Barolo Brunate, a wine that follows a slow fermentation on the skins and ages 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels.
The other reds are Langhe Nebbiolo, a fresh, young, fruity and velvety wine; Dolcetto and Barbera d’Alba. The former follows a fast fermentation to maintain great freshness, while the latter, from a very old vineyard, is a strong, colorful and velvety wine.
Finally, the Borgogno family produces a small amount of white: Langhe Favorita.

Visits & Tastings
Learn how a small artisan-style winery works.
The tour of the winery is generally conducted by Silvia: she will be the one to welcome you and explain all the steps that are needed to obtain a quality wine.
It starts with a visit to the winemaking and ageing rooms, where you will discover the traditional production process of great Langa wines.
At the end of the visit you will be guided through the wine tasting, a time when you will also meet Francesco Borgogno in person.
You will taste the wines in the company of those who tended the vineyards and waited patiently for the aging in the barrels: 5 labels to discover all the wine nuances of the territory.
