Images, Bonds and Future

With the inauguration held on Saturday, April 18, the Municipality of Priero officially opened to the public the House of Photography, a new cultural hub conceived as a hybrid space between museum, archive, restoration of a historic house, and exhibition center.

The opening will present to the public a project that interprets photography not only as a tool for documentation, but as living matter, capable of generating new narratives and connections between past and present.

Exhibition Opening

The inaugural exhibition path arises from the dialogue between historical memory and contemporary research.

At the heart of the collection are the images from the Alladio Photographic Archive, generously donated to the Municipality of Priero, which find new valorization through a high-quality museum installation.

Alongside these are the interventions of artist Maurizio Sapia, who, in line with the vision of the structure, presents site-specific installations and multimedia works, contributing to building an immersive and dynamic experience.

This is a path not only chronological, but also thematic, that allows visitors to move with fluidity between the memory of period prints and the expressive possibilities of contemporary technologies.

The installation is housed within a typical historic house in the center of Priero, donated to the Municipality by the Alladio family and restored with respect for the original spaces. As Orhan Pamuk states: “The future of museums is in our homes.”
