From the historic village of Sinio to the castle of Serralunga d'Alba.

An early spring walk in the beautiful Langa hills to discover the landscape, history and characters at the most romantic time of the year. Excursion of great scenic, historical and enological interest with convivial finale.

The starting point of the excursion is the town of Sinio, a small and quaint village that boasts an architectural testimony of historical significance: the castle.

Built at the apex of the concentric, of ancient medieval origin, it was transformed into a 15th-century stronghold by the powerful Del Carretto family.

We will follow the paths that trace ancient communication routes of Roman origin and pass through quiet, isolated hamlets that arose in ancient times and reach the village of Serralunga for lunch break (the break will be no more than 1 hour).

The quaint medieval village is dominated by the bulk of one of the most striking 14th-century castles in the Langhe, which has now become a symbol of this spectacular area.

After a walk through the historic center, characterized by the small alleys that radiate along the castle walls, we will return in the afternoon to the starting point by walking the scenic paths, east of the area, among vineyards, flowering forests and breathtaking views.
