High Langa

  • Trezzo Tinella

    Trezzo Tinella is a little village near Alba and Neive. The ancient path of the Via Magistra, which connected Alba and Cortemilia, is now an ideal trail for hiking.

    This little, but characteristic village is considered the major tourist centre of the Alta Langa. Its parish church, made entirely of stone, was built in the 15th century.

    In Serole, the Langa expresses its wildest and less contaminated features, with woods, meadows, slopes and gullies that in spring are covered with flowers and emanate aromas of Liguria.

  • Torresina

    The village, in the past called Torricella for the presence of a medieval tower, is situated in Alta Langa in an enviable location.

  • Roddino – panoramica

    Roddino is famous for its Dolcetto and Nebbiolo vineyards. Thanks to the height of its hills and the composition of the land, the wines produced here have a characteristic personality and strength (they are in fact called "baroleggianti").

    The small and charming village, completely restored, is inserted in a landscape of rare beauty, with the hills that stand out against the backdrop of the Alps and the sky.

    Saliceto is located along the river Bormida and resembles the villages of the Ligurian hinterland: it is full of winding streets and small squares where history has left its mark.

  • BERGOLO3

    The smallest town of Langhe (and one of the smallest of the whole Italy) was one of the first to realize how this territory could be touristically important, and to build modern accommodating and recreational facilities.

  • Prunetto D

    Prunetto is located at a lower height than the fortress on which the medieval town stood. The area located on the ridge that divides the Val Bormida from Uzzone houses one of the most important historical-architectural complex of the Alta Langa.

  • Rocchetta Belbo

    Rocchetta Belbo ruled the Langhe road known as "Magistra Langarum." The town is located on the banks of the Belbo river, which often caused violent overflowing.

    The village is located in the valley of the river Uzzone Pezzolo and is characterized by low, quiet and peaceful houses. Even the small village of Gorrino deserves a visit because it is gathered around the medieval castle.
