High Langa

The tower from which the town got its name dominates the whole place and is built on the top of the hill between the Belbo and Tanaro valleys.

One of the main towns in the Langhe. Its height (739 meters over sea level), its closeness to the Maritme Alps and its meadows give it an unusual mountain appearance.

Camerana is made of many different little villages, among which Villa, with its medieval tower and other monuments. The tower, symbol of the town, was built in 1268.

Village in the Belbo valley known for its typical products: the hazelnuts, the white beans known as “Regina di Spagna” (queens of Spain) and the robiola cheese made from goat milk.

The town got its name from a legend about Nella di Cortemilia, secluded in the town’s castle in order not to be abused by the local lord Lionello.

The municipality of Bonvicino is made of a bunch of houses gathered round the parish church, an ancient stone chapel, some farms on the hills around, and the little village of Lovera.
