Lower Langa

  • Narzole is located in a wide valley surrounded by several watercourses: the Tanaro river and the Mondalavia and Giuminella streams. The town boasts a long wine tradition.

    The castle in Castiglione was a defensive feature of the powerful Falletti family. Nowadays the territory of the town is entirely included in the docg Barolo wine area.

  • The village is characterized by a large crenellated cylindrical tower, more than thirty meters high. It was inspired by Carducci who mentioned it in verse calling it "sentinel over the centuries".

  • The central square of Farigliano is dominated by the façade of the church of S. Giovanni, built at the end of the 19th century. On the road that leads to Carrù, the sanctuary of Mellea bears witness to the apparitions of the Madonna.

  • A few kilometers from Alba, from the walls of its castle it is possible to admire the Barolo vineyards and the hills of the Langhe which now are part of the World Heritage Sites.
